Februrary 14 2026

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life… nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 8:38–39
Human love often feels uncertain because it depends on circumstances, behavior, or emotional closeness. God’s love is different. Paul speaks with confidence because he understands that God’s love is rooted in Christ’s finished work, not in human performance.
By listing every possible extreme—life and death, present and future—Paul makes one truth unmistakably clear: nothing has the authority to sever your connection with God’s love. Not failure, not suffering, not distance, and not doubt.
Even when you feel far from God, His love remains near. Your feelings may fluctuate, but His love is constant. You are held securely, whether you feel strong or weak.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that nothing can separate me from Your love. Help me live today rooted in that assurance. Amen.
