Februrary 13 2026

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33
Life constantly pressures us to focus on needs, goals, and future security. It’s easy to believe that if we can just manage everything well enough, peace will follow. Jesus challenges this thinking by redirecting our priorities.
Seeking God first does not mean neglecting daily responsibilities; it means allowing God to shape how we approach them. When God becomes our primary focus, other concerns find their proper place. Anxiety begins to loosen because we are no longer carrying the illusion of control.
Jesus assures us that when we place God at the center, provision follows—not always in the way we expect, but always in the way we need. Trust grows when priorities are aligned.
Prayer:
Lord, help me seek Your kingdom first today. Align my heart and priorities with Yours. Amen.
