A plea for God’s favor to rest upon both our lives and our labor.Psalm 90:17 is a prayer every believer should echo daily.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17
This verse is both a prayer and a partnership. It reminds us that while we work, it is God who establishes our work. His favor doesn’t just bless our efforts — it gives them lasting value.
Many people work hard, yet few see enduring fruit. The difference lies in God’s touch. When His favor rests upon what you do, ordinary work becomes eternal impact. A simple act of kindness becomes ministry; a daily task becomes worship.
Think of the builder who lays stones day after day — it’s the Lord who ensures the foundation stands firm. In the same way, you may sow, water, and plan, but it’s God who gives permanence to the work of your hands.
When you invite His favor, He takes your human effort and breathes divine life into it. The temporary becomes timeless. The fragile becomes fruitful.
“Without God’s favor, work fades. With His favor, it flourishes forever.”
Prayer:
Lord, let Your hand rest upon all I do. Bless my labor, my dreams, and my calling. Establish the work of my hands, and let everything I touch bring glory to Your name. Amen.

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” — Isaiah 40:29 The world teaches us to be strong on our own. The Bible teaches us something completely different: God gives power to the faint. He increases strength for those who have none left. That means you don’t have to pretend to be strong. You don’t have to hide your fatigue. You don’t have to force yourself through the storm. God’s strength does not come after you prove yourself. It comes when you admit you are tired. This verse is written for those who feel faint, forgotten, or worn down by life God specializes in strengthening those who know they are weak. Weariness is not a disqualification—it is an invitation. When your strength runs out, God’s strength begins. He does not shame weakness; He meets it with power. Today, receive His strength. You don’t have to do this on your own. Prayer: Lord, I receive Your strength today. Renew my power as I trust You. Amen.
