A comforting promise of divine protection and constant care.
Psalm 121:7–8 – “The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”
This is not just a promise for today — it’s a lifetime covenant.
The word “keep” here doesn’t simply mean to guard; it means to watch with affection. God’s eyes are not distant; they follow you wherever you go — in the busyness of your day, the stillness of your night, the joy, and even the struggle.
There are unseen dangers we never face because He intercepted them before they reached us. There are paths we safely walked because His hand quietly guided our steps. When others may forget or fail to protect, God never blinks — He keeps.
Think of a shepherd who doesn’t just lead his sheep by day but watches them through the night. That’s your God — faithful, alert, and near.
He keeps you in the small details and the grand journeys, in your going out to face the world and in your coming home to rest.
“You are not just seen by God — you are kept by God.”
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my Keeper. Watch over my steps today — my going out, my coming in, and every moment in between. Guard my heart, my mind, and my peace, both now and forevermore. Amen.

The Bible teaches us something completely different: God gives power to the faint. He increases strength for those who have none left. That means you don’t have to pretend to be strong. You don’t have to hide your fatigue. You don’t have to force yourself through the storm. God’s strength does not come after you prove yourself. It comes when you admit you are tired. This verse is written for those who feel faint, forgotten, or worn down by life God specializes in strengthening those who know they are weak. Weariness is not a disqualification—it is an invitation. When your strength runs out, God’s strength begins. He does not shame weakness; He meets it with power. Today, receive His strength. You don’t have to do this on your own. Prayer: Lord, I receive Your strength today. Renew my power as I trust You. Amen.
