"Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many."
— Hebrews 12:14-15 (NIV)

God reminded us through this powerful passage that peace and holiness go hand in hand.

It’s not always easy to live at peace with everyone—especially when we don’t see eye to eye.
But the question is: Are we making an effort, or have we already given up?

Jesus didn’t give up.
He endured the cross. He fulfilled His calling with perseverance, right to the end.

Bitterness can quietly enter our hearts and spread like poison. Don’t let it take root.
Address it—with love, grace, and truth.

Today, and every day, let’s make every effort to live in peace, guard our hearts, and walk in holiness.
